OOTB's production of Beau was nominated for a Drama League Award, 4 Outer Critics Circle Awards, 10 Drama Desk Awards (tied with Mexodus for the most nominated show), 1 Off-Broadway Award, and 4 Dorian Award nominations. Beau received a nomination for Best New Musical from all the award bodies. The cast, creatives, and producers celebrated the Drama Desk together as a family of beloved collaborators!

2026 began with three fully realized productions that received world premieres from OOTB's new works series, Building the Box. Building the Box is a workshop series designed to help new work/reimagined known work find the next step in the process. Out of the Box's 2025/2026 season concluded with a production of TRASH by James Caverly and Andrew Morrill in collaboration with The PAC NYC. The production was presented by the PAC and ran for 3 weeks, with rave reviews, and was performed in American Sign Language and English.
